Third win for BJMC
Dhaka, 03 November 2016: Team BJMC registered their third victory in
the JB Bangladesh Premier League beating Mukttijoddha Sangshad KC 3-2 at the
Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.
In the first phase two team made a 1-1 draw.
Team BJMC were close to score in the 43 minute but Samson Iliasu shot
was saved by Muktijoddha goalie Nayeem dived to the left.
Nigerian forward Eleta Kingsley broke the dead lock for Team BJMC in the 53rd minute, Midfielder
Jakir Hossain Ziku delivered a low cross from right flank and Kigsley placed
the ball into the net nicely. (1-0)
Samson Iliasu extended the lead in the 68th minute. Substitute
forward Shaikat Mahmud chipped a ball in to the box where Iliasu headed the
ball into the far post net. (2-0)
Jakir Hossain Ziku scored the third goal for BJMC in the 71st
minute with a powerful right footer from the top of the box. (3-0)
Muktijoddha came back into the match in the injury time. BJMC
goalkeeper Arifuzzaman Himel failed to clear Mufta Lawal shot properly and Javed
Khan placed the ball into the net on rebounder. (3-1)
Next minute Ahmed Kolo Musa scored another goal for Muktijoddha. Mufta
Lawal shot was fisted by Himel but the ball fell in the feet of Kolo Musa who shot
the ball into the middle of the net. (3-2)
With the win BJMC earned 14 points from 12 matches while Muktijoddha
remained with 18 points from 12 matches also.
