Dhaka,. November 7: Nigerian forward Sunday Chizoba slammed the first hat-trick of JB Banbgladesh Premier League with Abahani Ltd Dhaka beating Soccer Club Feni 5-1 at the Bangabandhu Nationa Statdium on Monday.

Abahani took the lead in the 18th minute with winger Jewel Rana taking control of a clearance at the top of the Soccer defence and swept past the challenge of Guinean defender Camara Mamadou before putting a low shot into the middle of the net. (1-0)

The lead was doubled in the 26th minute with Sunday Chizoba starting his scoring spree. Lee Tuck cut a low cross to the Nigerian who flicked the ball past Soccer goalie Sujan Chaowdhury (2-0)

Sunday struck his second in the 54th minute with a opportunistic strike. The penalty was the result of Camara pushing Jewel Rana inside the box, Sunday’s spot kick was fisted by a diving Sujan but Jewel Rana collected the rebound and cut back to Sunday who had just to push the ball in (3-0)

Nigerian midfielder Uche Felix reduced the margin for Feni Soccer in the 58th minute with low shot from the middle of the box (3-1)

Sunday completed his hat-trick in the 62nd minute finishing the job off a through pass of Emon Babu (4-1)

In the 88th minute of the match substitute midfielder Saad Uddin slammed the fifth with a cracking right footer from the right edge of the box (5-1)

Soccer were reduced to 10 men when their forward Chowmrin Rakhain sent off by referee showing direct red card. 

With the win Abahani have 29 points playing 13 matches while Soccer remained with 9 points playing 13 matches.
