Brothers beat BJMC 4-1

November 2016: Brothers Union beat Team BJMC 4-1 in the 2nd phase of
JB Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Tuesday.
In the first
phase, Brothers and BJMC played out a 1-1 draw.
Brothers took the lead in the very 3rd minute of the match.
From a counter attack midfielder Shofiqul Islam Shofi moved forward to blast a left
footer home on the edge of the box, giving no chance onrushing BJMC goalie
Arifuzzaman Himel. (1-0)
Augustin Walson doubled the lead in the 62nd minute with a
curling free kick from 20 yards. (2-0)
BJMC reduced the margin in the 67th minute. Samson Iliasu
curved a free kick from the left, the ball was received by Abdullah Parvez and then
Nigerian forward Eleta Kingsley left footer hit the back of the net with a deflection
of a Brothers defender. (2-1)
Nigerian forward Nkowcha Kigsley extended the lead for Brothers in the
88th minute after playing one-two with Walson. Kingsley made a
square pass to Walson who put the ball in the box before Kigsley dodging past
his marker to place the ball into the net. (3-1)
It was again Kingsley, who scored his second and fourth for Brother
with a solo effort in the injury time. Taking a ball from 20 yards, the Nigerian forward Kingsley danced
down from the left flank and wrapped up the victory with an angular shot from inside
box. (4-1)
With the fourth win, Brothers earned 17 points from 13 matches while
BJMC remained with previous 14 points from 13 matches.
