Dhaka, December 3: The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) has initiated a dialogue with
all the professional clubs to ensure that there is a common understanding
around club licensing.
Workshops with the clubs not only sought their feedback but also looked forward
to the 2017-18 season.
Paul Smalley, the federation’s technical director, conducting the workshops
looked forward to working with the clubs. “They were all very positive and
open,” he said.
Smalley said he found the clubs very enthusiastic and keen to work closely with
the federation. “After all clubs are the future of football of this country,”
said the BFF technical director.
He said there were two more clubs to talk to, after which the process will be
fully on to make sure there is integrated partnership to fulfill the minimum
requirements as required by the Asian Football Confederation.
