Bangamata & Bangabandhu Gold Cup 2016 closing ceremony held

Dhaka, February 12: The closing ceremony of Bangabandhu Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament 2016 and Bangamata Begum Fazilatunnesa Mujib Gold Cup Primary School Football Tournament 2016 was held at 4:00 pm on Sunday (12.02.2017) at the conference room of the BFF House in Motijheel, Dhaka.

Financed by the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education and organized by BFF, the tournaments were arranged in every division in the past year.

Building up to the closing ceremony, a workshop was arranged at the BFF House from February 10-12 with the participation of the head coaches and assistant coaches of 17 teams including the 8 divisional champions and runners-up.

In the closing ceremony of the tournament, the coaches were given certificates for their achievements.

Honourable Secretary of the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education Mr. Mohammad Asif-Uz-Zaman attended the closing ceremony as the chief guest.

The ministry's additional secretary Md Nazrul Islam Khan attended the ceremony as the special guest.

Moreover, Md Fazlur Rahman Babul and Satyajit Das Rupu were present at the closing ceremony as representatives of the BFF.
