Dhaka, February 24: Veteran goalkeeper Kazi Ekramul Bashar Tuhin breathed his last at the age of 53 on Thursday evening (February 23).
Tuhin, elder brother of former Bangladesh National Cricket Team captain Habibul Bashar Sumon, was suffering from cancer for a long time.
He passed away at 6:30 pm on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Bangladesh Medical College Hospital.
The veteran footballer left behind numerous admirers to mourn his death.
The former goalkeeper played for Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club, Arambagh Krira Sangha, Farashganj Sporting Club, Dhanmondi Club, East End Club and Bangladesh Police Football Team.
BFF President Kazi Salahuddin Ahmed and other members of the federation expressed their sincere condolences to Tuhin's family and friends and deeply mourn the death of the veteran player.
