China, April 23: The U16 Bangladesh National Women's Team have bounced back with a commanding 4-1 win over Shaanxi U15 women's team.
The Bengal girls started the game on the front foot in the second match of their China tour on Sunday.
The girls took only 8 minutes to put their mark on the game.
Left winger Marzia gave the visitors the lead with a wonderful strike.
Then in the very next minute, right winger Razia missed a good opportunity to double the visitors' lead.
The first part (of 3) of the game ended with the red and greens leading by one goal to nil.
Then on the 32nd minute, skipper Krishna Rani Sarkar pounced on a beautiful pass from midfielder Tohura to give Bangladesh a two-goal cushion.
Striker Sirat Jahan Shopna extended Bangladesh's lead even further on the 44th minute by converting a pass from Sanjida.
In the third part, the Chinese side tried to fight back.
On the 84th minute, Lou Xiemei reduced the
deficit to 3-1 from a spot kick for the Chinese outfit. Masura conceded the penalty for the hosts after mistiming a tackle.
However, the Bengal girls put the cherry on top of a scintillating performance when forward Sultana netted the ball in the 88th minute from a pass by Monica.
Defender Akhi Khatun was the best player for the red and greens patrolling the defence-line with command.
Each member of the team, including the coach, is happy to get back to winning ways and the team is looking forward to do even better in the next two matches.
Bangladesh will play CFA U14 national team on Monday.
