Kuala Lumpur, April 28: The draw of the AFC U-16 Women’s Championship 2017 was held today (28.04.2017) where Bangladesh was placed alongside title-holders DPR Korea, second-placed Japan and Australia in group B.
Thailand, the hosts of the tournament, will look to avenge their defeats by China PR in the 2013 and 2015 editions, as they were grouped together once again in Group A along with, Korea Republic and Laos.
The eight (8) teams have been drawn into two (2) groups of four (4) teams each, and are scheduled to play a one-round league, with the top two (2) teams in each group - four (4) teams in total - qualifying for the semi-finals.

The tournament will be held in Chonburi, Thailand on September 10 to 23, 2017.
