Dhaka Feb 5: Sheikh Jamal Dhanmodi Club Limited and Sheikh Russel KC both confirmed their fourth win in the Grameenphone Bangladesh League in Dhaka and Cox’s Bazar today.

Foreign recruit Charles double strike helped Sheikh Russel to register an easy 3-0 win over Soccer Club Feni at the BSSM Mostafa Kamal Stadium and Sheikh Jamal beat Chittagong Mohammedan 2-0 at the Cox’s Bazar Stadium.
Sheikh Russel charged early as Cameroon striker Charles broke the deadlock in the 6th minute of the match when his powerful shot defeated the rival goalie Piru from a rebound after a Moro Mohammad free kick.
Second goal of the winning team came from a penalty two minutes later when Soccer Club midfielder Sohel Rana tackled down Charles in the area. The Cameroonian converted the spot kick.
Raju sealed the victory for Sheik Russel when he headed home after rival custodian failed to hold an angular shot of Charles.
Away at the Cox's Stadium, national striker Emily put Sheikh Jamal lead in the 49th minute as he scored first goal in the league from a solo effort.
Cameroonian midfielder Modo Hugges doubled the lead in the 72th minute for the winning team taking the ball from midfield and dodging rival defenders and goalie.
Sheikh Russel coach Liton was scared about the injury problems because already five or six players are injured. “Six players are still injured in our team. We had to send three of them in the field because of shortage players. So, from the beginning, our boys were careful. After getting two goals early in the match, they seemed to be relaxed. But I am satisfied of their overall performance,” said the winning team coach.
