Dhaka, Mar 06: Bangladesh will face Kuwait in the second leg of the London Olympic 2012 qualifying round at Bangabandhu Stadium on Wednesday.
Kuwait coach Maher Shammeri hopes that the match will be a good one with Bangladesh coming out firing in their home ground. The match will be a good one with our friend country Bangladesh. I think they are a organised team and will fight with us,” said the Kuwait coach.
Though Kuwait will play in different condition but they are not worried about it.
“The condition of Bangladesh is not problem for us. It is same like Kuwait at five o’clock in the evening. We are looking forwards for the next round.”
Kuwait beat Bangladesh 2-0 at their home but the coach is happy their performance. “I was happy with how they played. The score should be more because they missed many easy chances but you know it is a game anything can happen.”
”You can miss easy chances and score from by luck or difficult situations. You cannot say anything before the match.”
The coach wanted to forget the previous result. “This is a fully different situation, the new game, new atmosphere, new 90 minutes. So you cannot say anything before the match,” told the coach.
Kuwait Under-23 team played a practice match and won 2-0 against their national league champion club before coming in Bangladesh.
Earlier, Kuwait team arrived in Dhaka early in the morning and they did practice at BSSM Mostafa Kamal stadium today in the evening.
