Dhaka, Apr 26: The second leg of Grameenphone Bangladesh League is going to be started tomorrow with the match of Champion Abahani Limited and Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club at the Bangabandhu National Stadium.
The sky-blue, last three years professional league champion, are standing at the second position of the point table with 26 point, two points behind of the league leader Muktijoddha, having eight wins and two draws.
On the other hand, Sheik Jamal, new powerhouse of professional league, are following them with 24 points having 7 wins and three draws.
After first leg Abahani are better position in the league than the Jamal but Manager Sattyajit Das Rupu does think so. “All are starting as a new. Anything can happen here because it is a new leg.
"It is a very important match. After recruiting four foreign players Sheikh Jamal attacking side has become very strong. We will try to do well. All ours players are OK. No injury problems.”
“Our new recruit Iranian midfielder Keivan Sayedi may be debuted tomorrow if all are going OK.”
