Dhaka, April 30. Banoura Ismael, the Guinean forward of Armbagh set the trail ablaze slamming hat-trick inspiring his team to a 4-0 demolition of Rahmtganj in the lone match of the Grameenphone Bangladesh League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
Arambagh’s attacking instincts were too much for below par Rahmatganj who failed to rise on the occasion. Nigerian forward Subair Omobolaji put Arambagh up in the 27th minute with a diagonal shot from the left flank of the box.
Bangoura Ismael who missed a sitter a few minutes ago amended his failure with a solo effort to in the 53rd minute beating onrushing Arambagh custodian Iran Sheikh with low shot.
Ismael’s prowess was evident again in the 63rd minute when he beat Iran with a curling shot from the top of the box to put his team on 3-0 cushion.
The tall forward completed the third hat-trick of the league off a penalty in the 69th minute.
With the win Arambagh rose to the sixth position with 16 points while Rahmatganj was demoted to the eighth with the same number of points due to the inferior goal difference.
