Dhaka April 09: Brothers Union continued their winning run in the Grameenphone Bangladesh League when they defeated Soccer Club Feni 2-0 at the BSSM Mostafa Kamal Stadium on Monday.
Tanmay Hossain Taru put Brothers ahead in the first minute of the first half stopage time and Brazilian defender Danilo Santos Rafael Vivaldo doubled the lead in the 58th minute.
An Everton cross from the right flank met unmarked Tanmay Hossain Toru’s head in the d-box and Toru’s header gave the hosts the lead just before the interval.
Brothers doubled the lead in the 58th minute through Brazilian midfielder Danilo Rafael. This time again it was Everton who set up the goal. Danilo collected a ball from the Brazilian and skipped past a Feni defender and thumped past Feni goalie Piaruzzaman Piru to take the lead to 2-0.
After this triumph, the Gopibagh outfit took the tally to 19 points from 14 matches while Feni outfit kept in 12 points with the same number of matches.
