Dhaka, April 14: League leaders Muktijoddha SKC consolidated their position at the top of the Grameenphone Bangladesh League Table with a 2-0 win over Feni Soccer Club at the Vasha Shaheed Salam Stadium in Feni on Saturday.
Sudanese forward James Saeed Moga and Russian Boris Kochikin scored one goal each for the visitors.
James Saeed Moga scored the first goal off a penalty ion the 18th minute after Feni Soccer’s Cameroonian defender Jean Eric handled a goal bound head of Moga and was sent off. Referee awarded a penalty and Moga took his goal tally to 14.
The Sudanese forward is now the top scorer of the Bangladesh League one ahead of Mithun Chowdhury and Twun Frank.
Russian forward Boris Kochikin scored the second in the 73rd minute off a cross from Arman Aziz placing the ball into the far post from the middle of the box.
Muktijoddha now has 38 points from 15 matches, 3 points ahead from the second placed Dhaka Abahani while Feni Soccer Club are ninth with 12 points from the same number of outings.
