With the draw Sheikh Jamal finished on the top of the table with 51 points from 22 matches. They are the first team to clinch the major title of the country in their first appearance in the top flight football.
Nigerian forward Kingsley put Brothers ahead in the 12th minute with a spectacular fashion. Taking control of a Faisal Mahmood chip in the middle of the box and beat Aminul with a powerful diagonal shot in the far post.
Defender Shujon equalized in the 62nd minute converting a penalty. His fierce spot kick gave no chance to Utaam to react.
Three minutes later Sheikh Jamal was celebrating the lead. A neat cross of Nigerian winger Femi Orunimi from the right flank beat Uttam in the air and tall Cameroonian forward Sergio Chico headed the ball into the empty net.
However Brothers came back into the game with another penalty in the 74th minute. Waly Faisal brought Brothers Brazilian midfielder Everton in the middle of the box and Everton scored from the penalty.
Brothers Union remained in the 5th position with 30 points with the last match against Dhaka Abahani.
