Dhaka, June 24: Nikola Ilievski, the newly appointed head coach of Bangladesh looks forward to insert an attacking brand of football in the Bangladesh football team after his arrival at Dhaka on Friday.
The 56 year old Macedonian coach said he believes in an attacking philosophy and will work to gel the team as an attacking unit. “ I love attacking football and believe it is the best way to enjoy the global game, I will work hard to attain international success” said Ilievski, the former coach of the Macedonian national team.
The coach said he is motivated with the international responsibilities and relish the challenges.
Bangladesh will face Pakistan in the pre- World Cup qualifiers on June 29 and July 3 in Dhaka and Lahore respectively.

Nikola Ilievski (born 16 December 1954 in Skopje) is a football coach from the Republic of Macedonia. He is a former player of SFR Yugoslavia. He participated in the World Cup in Spain 1982 as a player of former Yugoslavia and played five matches in the national team. He was coach of the Republic of Macedonia national football team from 2002 to 2003. He spent two spells as manager of FK Pobeda, leading them into the UEFA Cup in 2000 and to the 2003–04 Macedonian First League title. Before taking charge of Bangladesh national team he was the head coach of Albanian based club KS Bylis Ballsh and the club won the Albanian first division league title under his under his coaching in the season 2009-10. With this title the club promoted to the Albania super league.
