BD U-19 trial starts
Dhaka August 8: Bangladesh Football Federation started the trials of the forming the U-19 national team for the upcoming AFC U-19 qualifiers on Monday.
A total of 120 booters who joined the trials from across the country were scrutinized by BFF Technical Director Bayezid Alam Zubayer Nipu and the BFF coaches Syed Golam Zilani, Mahbub Hossian Roxi, Golam Rabbani Choton and Ahsanuallah Montu. Badal Roy, the chairman of the National Team Management Committee and Hasanuzzman Bablu, the member of the committee were also present.
The coaches sorted out 30 young booters on the first day and the trial will continue till August 10. BFF will finally select 35 players from the trials who will join the previously selected 35 players and will train under national head coach Nikola Ileivski who will gradually finalise the team. The previously selected 35 players include the national U-17 team players.
Nikola Ilielvski is expected to take the charges from the first week of September after his return from Macedonia.
