DHAKA, Dec 1: Sri Lanka arrived in Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon as the first team for the Bangabandhu SAFF Championship 2009, which kicks off in the capital on Friday. After arriving at the Zia International Airport for their SAFF mission, the islanders went to the Sonargaon Hotel. The visitors will practice at the Abahani ground on Wednesday from 3pm. Sri Lanka crashed out of the semifinals in the last edition at home. Pakistan and Maldives were expected to arrive in Dhaka on Tuesday night. SAFF giants and three-time winners India, Nepal and Afghanistan will arrive Wednesday.
