FIFA Futuro III Kicks off at Dhaka

16: A six day long FIFA Futuro III Refereeing Instructors Course started at the
Ruposhi Bangla Hotel at 9:00 PM on Sunday.

Mushedi, the Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Football
Federation, was present as chief guest and inaugurated the course.
A total of 33 participants from 9 neighboring
countries are taking part in the course which is split into three groups –
technical instructors, fitness instructors and heads of refereeing– in the
joint-effort to take Asian refereeing to a higher level.
The course uses a regional format, assembling and
educating instructors and heads of refereeing selected by the member
associations from neighbouring countries in a centralised venue.
Seven Referees and Developments officers-Mohsin Arif
(Sri Lanka), Samsul Maidin, Ganeshan Manyam (Singapore), Masud Enayet (Iran),
Victor Kolpakov (Kyrgyzstan), Utshumi Toshio (Japan), Azimi Abdullah (Malaysia)
will be conducting the course.
FIFA works closely with the AFC through the former's
Futuro III series of courses to improve all the important elements of football.
The closing ceremony of the course will be held 21 October, 2011 and BFF
President Kazi Salahuddin will be present as chief guest.
