Preview: Oman vs Maldives
Dhaka, October 26: Both Oman and Maldives will be looking forward to register their first win in the AFC U-19 Qualifiers at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Thursday.
Oman coach Abdel Azim was confident to grab full three points. “We have no options apart from a win, we will be achieving it at any cost, the team is free from injury and is motivated to put their best” said Azim.
He said Maldives have two or three very good players and they will be marked closely.
However Maldives coach Ibrahim Haleem was ready to take the challenge. “We will take the field for a win. We respect Oman because they are experienced. We may take a little defensive strategy as Oman are strong with their attacks. I will not be unhappy if we finish with a draw” said Haleem.
In their first matches, Maldives lost to Bangladesh 3-0 while Oman lost to Saudi Arabia 4-0.
