Post match: Oman vs Maldives
Dhaka, October 27: Oman coach Mohammed Abdul Azim Semida expressed satisfaction over his boys’ performance after the his team registered a 4-0 victory against Maldives on Thursday. “I am very happy with the three points because it was very important for us to survive in the qualifiers.”
Two Oman players were sent off in the two matches but coach is not worried. “It is part of game so no problems. But it will be difficult for team combination.”added the coach.
“The result would have been better but I am happy. Now our players have good morale after winning.” said Semida.
Maldives coach Ibrahim Haleem was a disappointed man after consecutive defeats that left his hopes dashed. “After this defeat our chance is finished. We failed to take any advantage despite having one man more in the field”
“We played defensive because Oman is very strong team. It is difficult to play against any Arab country.“ said Maldives coach.
