Bangladesh vs Saudi Arabia preview: Hosts to remain positive
Dhaka, October 28: Bangladesh
will be taking the field against Saudi Arabia with positive frame of
mind in their third match of the AFC U-19 group A qualifiers at the
Bangabandhu National Stadium at 7:00 pm on Saturday.
Bangladesh who beat Maldives 3-0 but lost to Iraq 6-0 on
Thursday will try to avoid the same fate as coach Nikola Ilievski may take a
little defensive approach. Ilievski may
ask his two wingers to come down during the attack of the opponents.
The Macedonian coach asked his defenders to take time and to
keep the possession of the ball. “We conceded two of three goals because of the
lapse of the defence, I have shown them the mistakes and Saudi Arabia is a team
of same caliber of Iraq, we must reduce the number of errors in the field” said
Ilievski.
Topu Barman, the hardworking defender will be out of the
match due to consecutive yellow cards. Otherwise Bangladesh have no injury problems.
Khalid al Koroni, the Saudi Arabain coach however was not
taking anything lightly. The whole Saudi squad eagerly followed the Bangladesh
Iraq match and the coach said they are ready to face tough challenge. “Hosts cannot
be taken lightly and we are focused to continue our winning streak, we have
taken the match seriously” said Koroni.
In the other match of the day inform Iraq will take on Maldives at 4:00 pm. The attacking Iraq had a
light practice session at the Brothers Union field on Friday and their coach was
tight lipped as usual. Maldives
who have lost to Bangladesh and
