Post match: Bangladesh vs Saudi
Dhaka, October 29: Bangladesh Coach Nikola Ilievski was a disappointed man after his team was beaten by Saudi Arabia 4-0 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.
The Bangladesh coach agreed that there is big difference between two teams. “ The gap is huge with Saudi Arabia. They are technically and tactically sound. They have 8 or 9 players who have played in premier level as far I know. Beside this, boys did many mistake in the match.” said the coach.
“The boys were trying to give 100% but they lack of match experience. It is not easy to fight with Arab country with 45 days training without practice match with foreign country. We need minimum six months training and 15/16 practice matches with others countries teams to prepare good team.”
Bangladesh will play next match with Oman but Ilievski is not worried on that match. I am not worried. Players will play their best. Of course we will fight for win.”
Saudi Arabia coach Khalid A Koroni was satisfied with the result. “Our target was to get three points and boys did so. 4 or 5 goals doesn’t matter. In the first half we played good but second half we did not take any risk. Bangladesh is very young team they need experience.” commented the Saudi coach.
