No option apart from a win-Ilievski
Dhaka, December 5: Bangladesh will be firing all cylinders to register the first win as well as to be alive in the last match of group B in the SAFF Championship at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium at 6:30 pm BST on Tuesday.
The Macedonian coach has asked his players to take the field and win the match. “There is no option apart from a win, yes a lot matters upon the first match between Nepal and Pakistan but we will insert our best for a win” said Ilievski.
Ililevski termed Maldives midfield as the best of the meet with Ibrahim Fazeel and Md. Arif leading the attacks. He also termed Ali Ashfaq as the dangerman.
“We are just thinking of ourselves, our back is on the wall and we have only one thing to do- register a win” said the Macedonian.
Nikola has also selected his playing eleven and the players are-Sohel, Mamun Miah, Shujon, Ariful, Rezaul, Nasir, Komol, Pranotosh, Emon Bau, Alamgir Rana and Mithun.
Meanwhile Maldives Hungarian coach Istivan Urbanyi termed the match will be very competitive. “In the Nepal Bangladesh match Nepal dominated but Bangladesh missed at least three scoring chances in the last 10 minutes, Bangladesh is a good team and will be charged to win the match, however we are ready to face a tough challenge and we have every hope to win and qualify for the semifinals” the said the Hungarian.
