About India:
This is new team and we played first match. I am very happy with the boys. We are lucky that we got three points. First half we didn’t do much. I was not satisfied. But 2nd half we were improving. Next game we will do better.
About Afghanistan:
Nobody is underdogs in modern football. Afghanistan are improving. One goal can make the difference. Our players have done many mistakes. We have to try to minimize our mistake.
Afghanistan coach Yusuf Kargar’s comments:
I am satisfied about our performance. Afghanistan is a backward country. You know, it is a battle field now. The players have not any experience. We have no facilities in Afghanistan. As preparation for this tournament, we played some practice matches with the foreign country. We hope we will play well in next two matches.
