Dhaka, Dec 6:
Bhutan coach Koji Gyotoku’s comments:
About Sri Lanka:
Sri Lanka were better the outfit and better than us in every department. They are physically, mentally strong and sound skilled. They outplayed us all the way. We have no chance to be in the semis.
About problems:
We left out 5-6 players because some of our players went to retirement and some didn’t come with us for educational commitments.. You know, Bhutan is a little country. We don’t have good play grounds. In the summer most of the times our grounds remains muddy and in winter we have strong wind. So, our booters did not get enough time to play football.
Sri Lanka trainer Sumith Wallapole’s comments:
In the previous match we have lost two players. But boys have done a tremendous job. Especially Kasun, he is in good form now. He was the best player last Lankan domestic league. He had recovered from the injury in the right time.
About semis:
It is not confirmed yet. We have to see theBangladesh Pakistan match. It is depending on that match. But we have six points with seven goals so we are very near to the last four.
