Salahuddin meets Bryan Robson
Dhaka, January 25: Bangladesh Football Federation hopes to see Manchester United, one of the leading football club in the world, expand their activities in the country.
BFF president Kazi Salahuddin met English football legend and Manchester United ambassador Bryan Robson at the Hotel Westin on Wednesday morning.
Salahuddin was pleased to see the English legend at Dhaka. “They are going back with the current state of Bangladesh Football. You know they have some plans to promote themselves, They did not tell me clearly what they wanted to do”.
“But after having some discussion with them I got some idea that they came here to do some research work. They have plans to enter Bangladesh and to produce player here. They wanted to look for talent here and groom them” added Salahuddin.
Salahuddin was aware that Robson and Dwight Yorke were not the guests of the BFF. “Today we had an introductory meeting. I did not come here with my proposal here. I came here to know what their Idea, concept about Bangladesh. What are they want to do here. However If they have any proposal, I
will accept it” said the Presodent.
“You know we have plans to build up the football academy and I have asked them for technical support. They assured me. If I get financial support and the sponsor, Manchester United will be assisting the BFF” concluded Salahuddin .
