Bangladesh coach Shahidur Rahman’s comments:
About match: We are very excited. A loss meant the path of the semifinal becoming unpredictable. We got one point and we are very much alive to reach the semis. God bless us to salvage a point.
About opponent
Our opponent had good plans. They were very strong and energetic. My midfielders didn’t play very well. They were erratic. We played the first half in attacking mood but in the second half we were little bit defensive as a game plan. We were playing for one point.
About high ball:
Pakistan players were tall and physically strong. So, our midfield failed to cope with the pressure.
Man to man marking
You play big match, you have some pressure. I don’t think our man to man marking was poor. I think they were doing right way. We will be more thoughtful in the next match. I am happy to get one point.
Pakistan coach George Kottan:
I don’t want to tell anything about the match and the way it was played. You were in the field. You saw everything. I am confident that Pakistan is a strong team. Every body was against us. I don’t want to tell anything about referees or others.
