U16 girls pumped up for Japan

Dhaka, June 15: The U16 National Women’s Team is looking forward to a week of football in Japan where they will hopefully gain in experience and skill ahead of the AFC U16 Championship in September 2017.

Ahead of the departure of the team, a press briefing was arranged at 3:00 pm on Thursday (15-06-2017) at the conference room (2nd floor) of the BFF House in Motijheel, Dhaka.

The girls’ head coach Golam Rabbani Choton said the biggest takeaway from this tour would be the experience. He pointed out How playing regular high-profile matches would allow the team to correct their mistakes and strengthen the team.

The girl's skipper Krishna Rani Sarker said the team is poised to gain experience to deliver a strong performance in the upcoming AFC U16 Championship final round on September 2017.

The girls, who have already secured a spot in the AFC finals, will start for Japan on June 17, 2017, where they will participate in training sessions at the “J-GREEN Sakai National Training Center” in Osaka.
