U23 to leave for Palestine Sunday

Doha, July 16: Bangladesh national U23 football team is expected to leave Qatar capital Doha for Palestine on Sunday noon.

All the players and staff will check out from the hotel at 1:00pm (4:00 pm BDST) Qatar time and set out for the main battlefield of AFC U23 Championship qualifiers to be held in Palestine.

The team had their last training session in Doha on Saturday from 6am to 8am.

Unfortunately, Jewel Rana is going back to Bangladesh as he is unable to play any further part due to a groin injury.

In his place, Mohammad Ibrahim will join the team in Amman.

Bangladesh will lock horns against Jordan in their first match of the qualifier tournament on July 19, 2017.
