Kathmandu, August 20: The Bangladesh national under 15 football team is through to the semi finals of the ongoing SAFF U15 Championship 2017.

Bangladesh's semi-final berth was confirmed on Sunday when Bhutan crushed Sri Lanka 6-0 as Bangladesh had already registered their first victory against the Lankans in the tournament opener.

Bangladesh have gone to the tournament with the hope of lifting the title.

Therefore, the red and greens will look to overcome the Bhutanese team in the last group game on Tuesday to go into the semis as group champions.

Bangladesh is in good shape after their thumping 4-0 victory against Sri Lanka.

Though the match against Bhutan will not be as easy as against Sri Lanka, the Bangladesh camp is confident of a positive result.

Coach Parvej Babu is preparing his boys to face off any challenge that the Bhutanese boys will be able to throw at them.

Bangladesh and Bhutan will lock horns at 3:00pm on Tuesday at ANFA Complex in Kathmandu, Nepal.
