Dhaka, Jul 24: The opening ceremony of the AFC “B” Certificate Coaching Course 2010 has been held in BFF house today.

A total of nineteen local coaches are participating in this three week day long program, from July 24 to August 13. AFC coaches’ instructor Ardeshir Pour Nemat Nodehi of Iran, assisted by two local instructors, Bayezid Zubain Nipu and A.K.M. Saiful Bari Titu will be mentoring the course.

Ardeshir is delighted to be back among his friends as he conducted the same course here in 2007. “We have a lot to learn from the last World Cup. The certificate is just a piece of paper, but we have to be passionate to the profession to be good coaches,” he stated. Ardeshir also put emphasis on experience in his short speech.

BFF vice president Kazi Nabil Ahmed declared the opening of the event. He is very pleased to organize the program after a two and half years’ gap. He said, “The coaches will apply the lessons they will learn during this course in the grass root level, which will be helpful to improve our players’ quality.”
BFF executive committee member Sattyajit Das Rupu and general secretary Al Musabbir Sadi were also present.
