Dhaka Jul 27: It was not about the result but it was about the passion towards football. A team consisted of current and former national booters went to five famous schools of the capital and they played one match against each, to inspire the school-goers.

The program which started on 18th July with the match against BAF Shaheen College concluded today after the match against Residential Model School. The other participating schools were Willes Little Flower School, Motijheel Government High School and Khilgaon High School.

The team got huge and warm greeting from every school they went. The national icons enjoyed the time they spent with the schoolchildren. On the other hand the youngsters were also very ecstatic to get their dream stars among them.

There was always a huge crowd surrounding the star players asking for autographs and photographs. “It’s like dream come true that I played against Emily and I can’t believe that I could successfully deter him from scoring,” said defender Adnan Habib Pritom, a class XI student of Residential Model School.

“I spent a quality time and am very happy to see the enthusiasm among the next generation” said national skipper and goalie Aminul Haque.

“Undoubtedly it’s an unique and excellent endeavor by BFF, I hope it will motivate the schoolchildren to football, said former national footballer and BFF executive committee member Sheikh Mohammad Aslam.

It was very much predictable that the experienced side will win all of their outings, but surprisingly they lost their last encounter against Residential Model School. Host team’s forward Mahfuzul Haque became the best player scoring two goals for his side.
