Dhaka Jul 29: Bangladesh women’s under-19 team’s preliminary camping for 2011 AFC Under-19 Women’s Championship qualifiers, which will be held in Dhaka, has started on 25^th July at the Sultana Kamal Women’s Complex, Dhanmondi.

A total of thirty-three players are participating in the camp. The players have been selected based on their performance in School Football, Super Cup and previous international tournaments. Twenty-three players will remain in the final list.

Bangladesh will fight India, Jordan and Iran in group B of the two grouped phase and only the group champions will be promoted to the next round.

The Bangladeshi coach Golam Rabbani Choton is a bit tensed with the inexperienced side as there are only ten players from the bronze wining South Asian Games side. “We have a very inexperienced side and our opponents are very strong. I don’t have clear idea about Iran and Jordan but Iran participates in world cup and Jordan is ahead of us in world ranking. I know only the Indian side, who defeated us in last South Asian Games. They have good control on the ball. However we want to play a quality game” said Rabbani yesterday.
