The FIFA TMS Workshop ends

Dhaka, Sep 2: The two day long FIFA Transfer Matching System Workshop with participation of most of the professional league clubs concluded today.

The professional clubs will have to recruit foreign footballers online from now on. So they are taught the procedures of online player transfer in this workshop.

A total of fourteen representatives from nine clubs took part in the workshop conducted by FIFA TMS Bangladesh’s Project Manager Abu Nayeem Shohag. Who also works as the Project Coordinator of Vision Bangladesh (Project of AFC Vision Asia), FIFA National Instructor (Admin & Management) and Manager of Competitions & Clubs Admin Department (BFF). He participated in a similar training program few months back in Malaysia.

“This is totally a new thing to the clubs. They are taking time but are learning. We will help them as much we can,” Shohag said after successfully finishing the course.

This season’s foreign players’ transfer window is from September 1 to October 15.

The club representatives are Md. Tanvir Ahmed(Abahani Ltd. Dhaka), Imtiaz Ahmed Nakib, Md. Akram Hossain(Dhaka Mohammedan SC), Md. Ashfaqul Haque(Sheikh Russel KC), Quazi Niamul Mazid(Arambagh KS), Mehdi Hasan, Abdus Sattar(Muktijoddha Sangshad KC), Jaglul Shahriar Khan, Amer Khan(Brothers Union), Haji Harunur Rashid, Iqbal Uddin(Rahmatganj MFS), Masud hasan Khan, Aurongojeb(Lt. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club), Md. Abdus Salam Faruk(Farashganj Sporting Club)
