Dhaka, Oct 7: The draw of Asian Games 2010 men’s football event, to be held in Guangzhou, China, next month, was held on Thursday.

Bangladesh have been placed in a tough Group E alongside Uzbekistan, UAE and Hong Kong in the draw.

Bangladesh coach Robert Rubcic has no idea about their opponents. “I don’t have any idea about the teams we will face but I will check out their quality, strategy, key players and other essential features within next ten days. I will prepare my boys according to that when I will get them back in the camp but the most important thing to me is the way we do play. We have to play our game on the pitch in order to get a good result,” Rubcic Said.

The Asian Games will officially open on November 12 but the football event will kick off on November 7 and conclude on November 25.

The top two teams from each group and the four best third-placed teams will qualify for the Round of 16.
The football events will be played in seven venues - Ying Dong Stadium, Huadu Stadium, Huangpu Stadium, Yuexiu Stadium, Guangdong People’s Stadium, Huagdong Stadium and Tianhe Stadium.
