BFF president’s mother passes away

shimky shafi small.jpgDhaka, Oct 09: Shimki Shafi, mother of Bangladesh Football Federation and South Asian Football Federation president Kazi Md. Salahuddin, breathed her last of kidney ailments at popular hospital yesterday. She was 77.
She left behind two sons, one daughter and numerous well wishers to mourn her death.

Her namaz-e-Janaza will be held at the Gulshan Azad Mosque after Zohor prayers on October 11. She will be buried at the Banani graveyard later on the same day.

BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy, the vice presidents along with executive committee members, general secretary, all the BFF officials and staff expressed deep shock over her death and prayed for the salvation of the departed soul.
