Dhaka, Oct 16: The professional league title holder Abahani Ltd. Dhaka and the new Bangladesh football powerhouse Lt. Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club were placed in Group A along with Rahmatganj MFS and Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra for the second round of Grameenphone Federation Cup in a draw ceremony at BFF house today.

On the other hand in Group B, Mohammedan will fight rejuvenated Muktijoddhah Shangshad KC, Feni Soccer Club and Brothers Union for a place in the clash of last four. The top two teams from each group will promote to the semi finals.

The draw ceremony was held with the presence of Club officials, current and ex-players, BFF coaches, media and celebrities.

BFF’s Senior Vice President and Professional Football League Committee chairman Abdus Salam Murshedy, Vice President Kazi Nabil Ahmed and Grameenphone’s head of market communications Sayed Tahmeed Azizul Haq were also present.
