BFF ready to Welcome Blatter
Dhaka, March 5: Bangladesh Football Federation is all set to welcome FIFA president Sepp Blatter at its home on Tuesday.
The FIFA president who visited Dhaka back on April 1, 2006 will receive a warm reception and is scheduled to meet Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. The FIFA president will arrive at Dhaka at 12:35 and will arrive at the BFF House at 4:00 pm, BFF president Kazi Salahuddin and all the executive committee members will exchange greetings with the FIFA president.
Blatter will inaugurate a photo exhibition organized by the Bangladesh Sports Press Association and also the astro-turf installed in the nearby field. The astro turf is a FIFA goal project.
Blatter will be addressing the audience and will also attend a press conference before heading to Jatiya Sangsad where he will meet the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
BFF also has organized a dinner in the honour of the FIFA president and it will also comprise a short cultural program.
Abdus Salam Murshedy, the BFF vice president said BFF is eager to honour the royal presence on Sepp Blatter. “We hope the FIFA president will be impressed with our efforts, we want to honour him” said Salam.
Zhang Zhilon, the acting president of Asian Football Confederation, Zhao Luo, the assistant to the AFC president, Manilal Fernando, the member of the FIFA executive committee, David Mel Borja, the FIFA development manager Asia, Walter de Gregorio, FIFA director division communications, Munero Garcia Marta, assistant to FIFA president, Sepalge Francis Perera, member Sri Lanka Football Association and Shaji Prabhakaran, FIFA development officer India are included in the tour party.
