Dhaka, May 21: Sheikh Russell drew goalless with Arambagh in the Grameenphone Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Monday.

 

Sheikh Russell came close to a strike in the 26th minute when Cameroonian midfielder Frank Oliver pushed the ball to Nigerian forward Alamu Bukola Olalekan whose shot was saved by Arambagh keeper Biplob Kumar Bishnu for a corner.

 

Arambagh’s lone effort came in the 57th minute when Elita Kingley’s header on a Jahidul Hasan Dalim corner sailed past the side post.

 

In the stoppage time Bukola’s 25 yarder hit the side post.

 

Sheikh Russell now have 21 points from 13 matches while Arambagh took their total to 10 points from 13 matches also.
