Dhaka, July 12: Isdayer Rabeya Hossain High School, Narayanganj will face Katirhut High School Chittagong in the final of the National School Football Tournament 2011 at 4:05 pm at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Saturday.

The country’s biggest football tournament started last week of December 2011. A total of 5000 thousand schools were taking part in this meet across the Bangladesh. 

Education Minister Nurul Islam Nahid will be present in the final as the chief guest and distribute the prizes among the winners. Former National football Star and Deputy Chairman of the school football Tournament Md. Aslam disclosed this in a press meet at the BFF House.

Aslam thanked sponsored, ministry, media partners and all the people who were involved in different time  this meet, I would like to thank our sponsor Islami Bank, Plan Bangladesh, ATN Bangla,  Ashiyan and the coaches and staffs who were involve and helped us to organized this tournament successfully.” Said Aslam.

BFF Vice President Abdus Salam Murshedy also showed to all who were playing role in this biggest meet. “I want to Ministry of education for helping us to organize this meet. I also thanked Islami Bank for coming forward to sponsor us. Without their help, it would be difficult for us to run this. Thank ATN Bangla, Plan Bangladesh and Ashiyan for joining our journey.

Champion will be awarded a purse of TK 10 Lacs and Runner Up will get 5 Lacs. Mijanur Rahman Khan Dipu, MP will give Tk 1 Lac to the best player of the tournament. 

BFF Memmber Fazlur Rahman Bablu, Sattyajit Das Rupu, Md. Illiyas Hossain, Acting General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, Islami Bank, PRO, Md. Riyaz Uddin Riyaj and other BF, Islami Bank and ATN Bangla officials were also present on the occasion.
