Lotto declares kits sponsorship of women team

Dhaka, Aug 30: Lotto Bangladesh, the local franchise of the world famous sports kit producers  was officially introduced as the kit sponsor of Bangladesh Women Football Team for 2nd SAFF Women’s Football Championship 2012. The prestigious women football championship in South Asia will be held from September 7 to 16 at CR and FC grounds, Colombo in Sri Lanka.

Lotto will provide 30 pair of kits to women team including match, 
practice and dining kits.  BFF Women wing chairman Sirajul Islam Bachchu disclosed these in a press brief at BFFF House on Thursday.

“We are happy to see that Lotto is sponsoring our women team. Our women 
team is improving day by day. FIFA Women body has instructed us to promote the company who sponsor women team. Lotto is sponsoring in our women So, they deserve it” said Bachchu. 

BFF Senior Vice President Abdus Salam Murshey also expressed his 
gratitude to Lotto for coming ahead. “We thank Lotto for sponsoring us. I hope they will continue their support to improve women football in the future” said Salam 

Managing Director of Lotto Bangladesh Kazi Jamil Islam was happy to get linked with women;s national  team. “ We are happy to be here and we hope the girls 
will play good football. We hope we will come in next but it will depend on players’ performance. If they play well then we will come with big budget” said Jamil.

BFF Acting General Secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag, Coach Golam Rabbani 
Choton, Captain Trishna Chakma and other officials off BFF and Lotto Bangladesh were present on the occasion. 

Bangladesh  kicks off their journey with the match against India 
on September 7.
Group – A: India, Bangladesh, Bhutan and Sri Lanka.
Group – B: Nepal, Pakistan, Maldives and Afghanistan.
