Dhaka, November 14: The leading electronics brand of the country Walton was revealed as the sponsors of the 28th edition of Federation Cup, the curtain raiser tournament of the season at the BFF House on Thursday. 

 The 12 team Federation Cup is scheduled to kick-off from December 20th but the BFF may alter the date depending upon the political situation. 

As per the deal Walton will provide a purse of Tk. 20 lakh as the title sponsors. In the official press conference BFF senior vice president Abdus Salam Murshedy thanked Walton for stepping up to sponsor the meet. "We must admit that Walton has provided the assistance in a crucial time, we are thankful to them" said Murshedy. 

AFM Iqbal bin Anwar Dawn, the additional director Walton said they are here for a sustainable relationship. "We have sponsored the Women's Corporate Football earlier, now we have been tagged with another big tournament, we hope to continue the relationship with football" said Dawn. 

BFF general secretary Abu Naeem Shohag and Walton Brand Ambassador Zobera Rahman Linu were also present on the occasion
