Dhaka, December 5: Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Ltd faces Abahani Ltd in the first semifinal of the Walton Federation Cup at the Bangabandhu National Stadium at 5:00 pm on Friday.
 
In a pre-match press conference held at the BFF House on Thursday both the coaches of the teams expresses confidence of winning the match and moving into the final. 

Josef Afusi, the Nigerian coach of Sheikh Jamal was upbeat about his team. “We have targeted all the available trophies of the season and Federation Cup is the first, we are not taking anything granted, we will fight for title with our best performances, Abahani is a strong team with both experienced and young players, we are ready for the tough challenge” said Afusi. 

Afusi added his Haitian star Sony Norde escaped from a big injury and will be ready to play.

Amalesh Sen, the Abahani coach was banking upon the form of the team. “We are yet to concede any goals in the last three matches, the best of Abahani is yet to come, there are no injuries in the team and with a teamwork based game we are determined to win the match” said Amalesh.
