Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club defeated Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra 1-0 in the Bangladesh Premier League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday. 

Muktijoddha’s Nigerian striker Eleta Kingsley missed a penalty in the 21st minute as he hit the crossbar. Jamal goalkeeper Ziaur Rahman Zia brought down Nkwocha Kingsley inside the penalty area to give Muktis the penalty. 

Sheikh Jamal scored the only goal in the 22nd minute after they earned a penalty when Muktis goalie Rasel Mahmud Liton fouled Darlington inside the box. Haitian forward Wedson Anselme made no mistake to put his side ahead from the spot. 

With the win, Sheikh Jamal moved to the top of the points table.
