Dhaka, March 26: Team BJMC emerged as the champions of group A beating Feni Soccer 3-2 in the Modhumoti Bank Independence Cup at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday. 

Feni Soccer took the lead in the 27th minute through their winger Ali Hasan who took control of a through pass of Akbar Hossain Ridon and Hasan shot the ball into the far post net with an angular grounder (1-0) 

Feni Soccer doubled their lead in the 30th minute with Ridon heading an Ali Hasan corner into the middle of the BJMC net (2-0)

BJMC started to return to the game in the 33rd minute after Feni Soccer defender Akramuzzaman Liton bringing Ismael Bangoura down inside the box and the Guinean forward scored from the penalty (2-1) 

In the 63rd minute Bangoura headed an Abdullah Parvez free kick to restore the parity in the match (2-2) 

Abdullah Parvez  sealed the fate of the match with a  superb  effort  in the 77th minute , his  curved left footer  from  20 yards dipped into the net over the head of Feni Soccer goalie Masud Ahmed Uzzal.

BJMC earned four points while Feni Soccer have three points, Rahmatganj, the other team of the match earned one point
