Limited routed Uttar Baridhara by 5-2 goals in the 2nd phase of
Nitol Tata Bangladesh
Premier Football League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Wednesday.
Abahani took the
fastest lead of the league in the 1st minute (42nd second) through their forward
Shahedul Alam Shahed. Cameroonian forward Akele Patrick curved a cross from
left side to unmark Shahed whose powerful right footer hit the back of the net.

Nasir doubled the margin in the 13th minute with a placing shot on a
cross of Ghanaian playmaker Awudu Ibram from the left. (2-0

fourth goal for Abahani in the 55th minute with a fierce shot from

Cameroonian Akele
Patrick netted the fifth goal for Abahani in the 80th minute. (5-1)
Md. Dulal scored
second goal for Baridhara in the injury time with a left footed shot on a
cutback of Kosoko.
With this win, Abahani
reached on 31 points from 15 matches while Uttar Baridhara remained with 10
points from the same number of matches.
