Dhaka, May 16: Team BJMC beat Sheikh Russel KC 2-1 in the second phase of Nitol Tata Bangladesh Premier Football League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday. 
 
Forward Md Robin put Russell ahead in the 23rd minute. After a strike from forward Mithun Chowdhury, Robin just sent the ball over BJMC keeper Arifuzzaman Hemel to find the back of the net. (1-0)
 
BJMC restored the parity in the 40th minute through their Guinean striker Ismael Bangoura. Saiful Islam fed the ball with a defense splitting through pass and Bangoura collected the ball to drift into the penalty area and placed the ball into the far post. (1-1)
 
In the 58th minute, midfielder Samson Iliasu took the lead for BJMC heading in a cross of Ismael Bangoura from the right flank. (2-1)
 
After win, BJMC took their tally to 18 points from 16 matches while Russel remained their previous earning of 16 points from 13 matches.
