Dhaka, May 23: Team BJMC and Ctg Abahani played out a 1-1 draw in the 2^nd phase of Nitol Tata Bangladesh Premier Football League at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Friday.
 
Team BJMC were very close to score in the first minute of match but forward Nabib Nawaj Jibon failed to score as his shot was saved by Ctg Abahani goalie Nahid Uddin.
 
 
BJMC were disappointed in the 36^th minute when their Nigerian midfielder Samson Iliasu’s volley shot hit the side post on corner of Nigerian midfielder Uche Felix from the left flag.
 
However, Guineas forward Ismail Bangoura broke the deadlock for Team BJMC in the 77^th minute. Defender Mahmudul Hasan curved a cross to middle of the box where forward Nabib Nawaz Jibon received the ball and passed it to Ismail Bangoura who shot straight to the net. (1-0)
 
Ctg Abahani leveled the match in the 85^th minute through their midfielder Abdul Hannan. Forward Sohel Mia sent a cutback to midfielder Abdul Hannan whose angular left footer hit in the far post and crossed into the goal line. (1-1)
 
After this match, BJMC took their tally to 19 points from 17 matches while Ctg Abahani,s collection was 9 points from the same number of matches.
