Dhaka, October 19: Jordan thrashed UAE by 8-1 goals in the group B of the AFC Women’s U-16 Championship Qualifiers at the Bangabandhu National Stadium on Sunday.
Leen Yasin opened the account in the 12th minute, Noor Mahmud Rajab Zooash doubled the margin in the 52nd minute, Tasnim Mohammed scored the third in the 57th minute, Tasneem scored a brace in the 66th and 76th minute, Luna Mazin netted the in the 68th and Yasmeen Muwaeih scored one in the 71st minute. The other goal was an own one and Amna Fahad, the UAE midfielder sent the ball into her own net.
Naeema Ibrahim scored the first goal for UAE in the 90+2 minute.
Jordan lost to Bangladesh 1-0 in their first game while UAE earlier lost to Iran and Bangladesh by 9-0 and 6-0 goals respectively.
